Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Einbürgerungstestvorbereitung app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
The Service
The App helps you prepare for the German citizenship test (Einbürgerungstest) by providing practice questions, mock exams, progress tracking, and study aids based on the official question catalog published by the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF).
The App is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the BAMF, the Federal Republic of Germany, or any government body. Passing practice tests in the App does not guarantee passing the official Einbürgerungstest.
Not Legal or Immigration Advice
The App is a study aid for the Einbürgerungstest. Its content — including questions, answers, and explanatory notes — is provided for educational purposes only and is not legal, immigration, or official advice. Nothing in the App creates a lawyer–client, advisor–client, or fiduciary relationship. For binding information about naturalisation requirements, procedures, or your individual case, consult the responsible German authority (Ausländerbehörde or BAMF) or a qualified professional.
License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App for your own personal, non-commercial preparation for the Einbürgerungstest.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Rent, lease, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could damage or overburden the service
In-App Purchases
The App offers an optional lifetime premium unlock as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to the standard App Store Terms of Sale.
Restoring purchases: If you reinstall the App or use it on another device signed in to the same Apple ID, you can restore your premium unlock at any time via Settings > Manage Subscription (or the equivalent Restore Purchases option).
Refunds: All refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple according to App Store policy. The developer cannot issue refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
User Conduct
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any paid features, security measures, or usage restrictions
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App
Intellectual Property
The App itself — including its source code, design, user interface, graphics, and original written content — is owned by the developer and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The official Einbürgerungstest question catalog is public information published by the BAMF and is reproduced in the App for educational purposes.
Your personal data — including quiz progress, streaks, and settings — belongs to you and is stored locally on your device.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
While the App is designed to help you prepare, the developer does not guarantee that using the App will result in passing the Einbürgerungstest, that the content is complete or free of errors, or that the App will be uninterrupted or bug-free. The official question catalog may change over time; always verify current requirements with the BAMF.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or exam-related outcomes.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, the developer's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws in Germany or the European Union that cannot be excluded by contract.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or business practices. Updated Terms will be reflected in the in-app Terms of Service screen. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws provisions. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence within the European Union remain unaffected.
